Health Care Enrollment

ASSISTING the HEALTH CARE NEEDS OF OUR COMMUNITY

What is a Kynector? Kynectors are trained people right in your community who can give you free help in person or over the phone. A Kynector can help you with your benefits in the following ways:

  • Apply for Medicaid and KCHIP
  • Apply for Qualified Health Plan
  • Report Changes in your information
  • Recertify your benefits

NKCAC provides Kynectors in 7 counties in Northern Kentucky including: Boone, Campbell, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Owen and Pendleton County. The overall goal of the Kynect Program is to provide assistance about insurance affordability programs and coverage options so that Kentuckians can be educated with making informed decisions when selecting a health plan and enrolling in plans.

Kynectors also help with SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and CCAP (Child Care Assistance Program). Kynectors will help individuals and small businesses in Kentucky determine their health plan needs and assist them in choosing plans that meet those needs. They will also conduct outreach activities to proactively educate the Kentucky population about the exchange and the ACA (Affordable Care Act).

Finding the right plan can be a difficult process. Our Kynectors can help. Contact information can be found below.
