What is the Senior Workforce Program? 

A program  designed for older adults seeking an opportunity to develop new skills, job training, and education to begin a new career path in either law or finance.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. APPLY: Participants will be enrolled in an 18-week cohort, During this cohort you will receive career-related training, education, and employment assistance.

  2. ENROLL: Participants will have the opportunity to actively enroll into college courses and pursue an education. In addition to this, they will serve at Volunteer Stations to gain experience in either the financial industry or legal field

  3. BEGIN COHORT: Participants will be in groups based on their chosen path with other participants in the program. This is to promote a feeling of community & support with others.

  4. GRADUATE:Upon completion of major milestones while in the program, participants will be recognized for their hard work.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be at least 55 years of age
  • Meet the federal income level
  • An enthusiasm to learn
  • Excitement to start a new or second career
