During these uncertain times of the COVID-19 pandemic taking place across the county, Northern Kentucky CAC is committed to the health and safety of the families we serve and that of our staff members. While it has been necessary to make some changes in our daily operations, we want to assure you that we are committed to serving our families and clients when they will need us most. Our leadership continues to carefully monitor guidance provided by the CDC and the State of Kentucky and will make changes to our operations as necessary to ensure we are doing everything we can to keep you safe and healthy, while still being here to serve you. Below, please find updates for program operations. We will update this information as the need arises.
Head Start – All locations are currently operating in person. Proper safety protocols are being followed as recommended by the State of Kentucky and the CDC at the Newport location. If you have questions, please call Lauren Patterson at 859-431-4177 or lpatterson@nkcac.org
Early Head Start/Childcare Services – All Early Head Start locations are open. Proper safety protocols are being followed as recommended by the State of Kentucky and the CDC at the Newport location.
Neighborhood Centers – All 8 Neighborhood center locations are open to serve clients. Staff will be onsite, and will serve families in person or through telephone appointments. YouthBuild – The YouthBuild program is currently training though in person instruction.
Community Collaboration For Children – has stopped all in home visits but will continue to serve families through telephone services.
Lincoln Grant Scholar House – The offices are open to visitors by appointment only.
Kynectors – staff have resumed normal services.
Senior Case Management – has resumed normal operations. Proper safety protocols are being followed as recommended by the State of Kentucky and the CDC for in home visits.
Senior Employment Program – Senior participants have resumed training at host agencies.
Administrative – Our Administrative Offices at 717 Madison Avenue are open to visitors. Proper safety protocols are being followed as recommended by the State of Kentucky and the CDC for employees and visitors.
